Enameled Peacock feathers. Final project for my enameling class. I saw these [link] at the V&A in London and found them absolutely interesting. I wanted to make some of them, but there'd really be no purpose to enameling on those forms. I chose to do peacock feathers because the tail of the peacock means essentially the same thing as the hairpins, "Look at me! I'm awesome! I'm rich and pretty!"
